July third I drcided to jump into the Warren river at 0100 hrsand swim out to this sailboat to try to break in and see if there was any booze on board.

I ended up panting my way back to shore about a half-mile from my home. Taken oh-so-swiftly by the current. made it to the shore but-nekkid, the way I had gone swimming.

'course the local cops arrived at the dock just as I was hoisting myself on the dock.

And they said "SaltDog?? Izzat you?" And gave me a ride back home in the back of the cruiser buck nekkid.

Night swimming has been a passion since I was a child.
